(Las Vegas, Nevada)
I live in El Cajon California, since my beautiful home in Deerhorn Valley was taken away by the 2007 San Diego wildfires. I spend most days either in my office helping my patients improve their health, teaching classes to health and medical professionals or the public, lecturing at scientific conferences around the U.S., petting my two wonderful cats, or working on presentations or future books or videos.
I am a board certified traditional naturopath and a board certified clinical nutritionist. Anything else you wish to know about me professionally, you can find on my web site at www.Naturopath4you.com.
I hope that before I reach 100 (40 years from when I am writing this), we will finally stop lying to the public about numerous things related to health and medicine. Possibly the most egregious lies that keep getting perpetrated on both the medical profession and the public, are that fluoridated water, silver amalgam dental fillings, vaccinations, and LOTS of fresh fruit and whole grain products are good for us - and that properly raised animal proteins, saturated fats, eggs and cholesterol are bad for us. It works, we keep getting fatter and sicker every decade.

. . . of ardent Neapolitan ancestry, I was formerly a gifted child in the mid-1950s, though I didn’t find out until late 2003 that I could have been a rocket scientist. No degree. No money. No regrets. Now retired, live quietly with my wife in residential Fairborn, Ohio (USA), in a modest home, I still pursue the ‘4Rs’, along with hands-on traditional woodworking, and gardening

Hi, I am Ivan Hafley, a retired oil & gas attorney in McKinney, Texas. I was an Air Force Academy cadet, a U. S. Marine, and an IBM salesman before going to law school at age 32. Now, at age 75, I am happily retired and living a quiet, laid back life with my two Schnauzer dogs. Aside from taking care of them, I spend most of my time keeping up my house and yard, reading an eclectic variety of books, playing chess with my computer, watching (mostly British) tv, socializing with friends, and seeing the woman I've been dating for three plus years. When I occasionally wear my Intertel tee shirt and people ask me "What is Intertel?" I reply that it is the "society for intellectual intercourse", and its members are, of course, known as "smart fuckers."
I love reading, traveling and cooking. Language is one of my passions---I have an undergraduate major in French and a minor in Spanish, and I have enjoyed studying Latin, Old English and Italian, as well. My biggest passion is my family---I have five children and seven grandchildren. I hope to continue to love living, laughing, loving and learning for the rest of my life.

I have worked as a software engineer since the late 1970s in various fields. My background ranges from nuclear engineering in the U. S. I have lived much, loved often and licked the bowl when done making cookies. I have an awesome wife who makes me a better person and an incredible son who is soon to become a better man than his father. I can make Minute Rice in 49 seconds, sang the entire Sound of Music (solo) for the Dalai Lama and enjoy teaching children how to grade the culinary traits of glue, glitter and various crayons. Cows moo my name for comfort at night. I currently hold a black belt in Tsundoku, wear a brown belt with brown shoes and can change the timing belt on a Honda Accord - while the motor is running. My sweat smells like vanilla and polar bears tell their cubs stories about me when they tuck them into bed at night. Cats are naturally attracted to me, badgers fear me and rhinos eat out of my hand. I know what Marsellus Wallace looks like. I can square away a room, circle an airstrip, and line up for free cat oil. I put the laughter in "manslaughter", the fun in "funeral" and the F-U in "fun". I can count to infinity while memorizing pi to the third digit and I am able to drink and derive.
I have a BS and an MS that I got ASAP at 7-11 near the ABC store. 10-4? I breed Mexican fighting poodles for training lifeguards, drive a manual transmission and know a little German (Hans Pfannkuchen - 4' 3"). I don't sweat - I condensate. I solve crosswords and Sudoku with a permanent marker, have a lifetime collection of unused pencil erasers and can identify the vintage of various white-out bottles by smell alone.
And now I am adding "member of the Intertel community" to my list of accomplishments.
